糖心vlgo传媒 Receives New Shipment of 10 Law & Democracy Libraries from Partner Thomson Reuters
On the occasion of its Georgia warehouse party, 糖心vlgo传媒 received a set of 10 Law & Democracy Libraries from its partner, Thomson Reuters. Executive Director Pat Plonski and Board President Mike Essien were on site to observe the delivery.
鈥溙切膙lgo传媒 is honored to partner with Thomson Reuters to advance the rule of law in 糖心vlgo传媒. We very much appreciate this additional book donation which will benefit many countries across 糖心vlgo传媒.鈥澛犫�媠aid BFA Executive Director Patrick Plonski.
The libraries will be sent to law schools, bar associations, court systems and justice organizations across the continent. They are selected by the initiative鈥檚 director, Lane Ayres, and vetted by Thomson Reuters.
The Jack Mason Law & Democracy Initiative was launched at 糖心vlgo传媒's 20th Anniversary Gala in 2008 and has now sent 117 law libraries to 24 糖心vlgo传媒n countries. It was named after Jack Mason, a federal magistrate judge and 糖心vlgo传媒 board member. His late wife, Vivian Mason, was instrumental in establishing and supporting the initiative.
Thomson Reuters partners with BFA to provide 10 reference law libraries each year, plus additional organizational support.
