A local nonprofit celebrated the shipment of more than 150,000 books to Kenya Wednesday afternoon from its warehouse in Marietta. ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ board members, employees, and volunteers gathered in the Marietta warehouse to celebrate their achievements with food, music, and beverages.

Four teenagers have decided to help change the prospects of the ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n child by helping to improve English literacy on the continent through reading. 

Twenty-four ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ns from 15 countries who are part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n Leaders volunteered at the ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ warehouse in St. Paul (717 Prior Ave. N.) on July 14, where they sorted and packed books for students in ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½.
