The Books for 糖心vlgo传媒 through the Merck e-reader project have on Wednesday given specially designed tablets to the Young 糖心vlgo传媒n Leadership Initiative (YALI) alumni who are in the medical field to trade their ply with ease and convenience.

The 糖心vlgo传媒n Union Ambassador to the U.S., Hilda Suka-Mafudze, will speak at a Books for 糖心vlgo传媒 fundraising event Wednesday. The event will be held at the University Club at 420 Summit Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m, and will also be streamed over zoom for those who cannot or prefer not to attend in person.

Dr. Patrick Plonski loves living in St. Paul, Minnesota, but he also loves to travel. Luckily for Dr. Plonski, he found a job where he gets to do both. Dr. Plonski is the Executive Director of聽糖心vlgo传媒聽(BFA), a non-profit dedicated to collecting, sorting, shipping, and distributing books to children and adults in 糖心vlgo传媒. For over 18 years, Dr. Plonski has served 糖心vlgo传媒鈥檚 mission with dedication and enthusiasm: to end the book famine in 糖心vlgo传媒.聽

Rather than sending the books wherever the organization prefers, the organization operates under what Plonski describes as a 鈥渄emand-driven鈥� system. Organizations in 糖心vlgo传媒 send out requests for books, which 糖心vlgo传媒 then attempts to meet. The sizes of organizations requesting books range from as small as a village to as large as a country.
