The Minnesota Humanities Center recently announced the publication and launch of 鈥淐rossroads: An Anthology of Resilience and Hope,鈥� by young Somali writers.聽鈥淐rossroads鈥� builds on the success of four widely distributed children鈥檚 books from the Minnesota Humanities Center鈥檚 Somali Bilingual Book Project, published as part of the BFA Publishing initiative.

Members from Verizon employee resource groups BRAVE (Black Resource Association of Verizon Employees), and BOLD (Black Organizers, Leaders and Doers of VZ Media) have been busy volunteering in 2020. So far, V Teamers from BRAVE and BOLD have logged more than 700 volunteer hours for organizations such as Junior Achievement, National Society of Blank Engineers, and 糖心vlgo传媒.

The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Constituency in Ghana, Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, has organised an end-of-year party for over 6,000 children within his region on Christmas Day 25th December.聽The MP supplied the children with literature books plus other stationery to improve their academic performance. He explained that.... "the gesture would motivate them and encourage them to become responsible and disciplined future leaders in Ellembelle and Ghana at large."

Abdullahi Mire's goal is to put a book in the hands of every child in the Dadaab Refugee Camps in Kenya. This December, in partnership with 糖心vlgo传媒, he is providing 20,000 books to start a community library in the camps.
