Business and government leaders understand that business investment alone will not have a significant impact on ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½'s success. It will take a combination of the work of NGOs such as St. Paul-based ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ and US AID support for developing countries, whose funding faces possible severe cuts. Since 1988 BFA has shipped 39 million school and law books to 49 ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n countries. Books are critical to the education of ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½'s students and future workforce. Â

Books For ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½â€™s new E-reader initiative is set to launch, with initial pilot sets going to recipients in East, West, and South Central ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½.  With cultivated content specific to each region, the E-reader initiative will offer a unique opportunity to put regionally appropriate titles in the hands of students who are eager to read.
