Malawi Partnership Delivers for Students, Communities

September 1st, 2023

Late last year, ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ (BFA), with the help of the Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance Funded Transportation Program, sent 110,000 books to students in Malawi. The books, shared between Kamuzu University and the Malawi National Library Service, has positively impacted thousands of students of all ages across the country.

Twin Cities Book Walk 2023 Raises Funds for ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n Literacy

BFA Volunteer Spotlight: Perry Mitchell

If you ever visit the ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ Atlanta warehouse, you will probably run into Perry Mitchell sorting books, joking with staff and chatting with fellow volunteers. For the past six years, Perry a former advertising creative director, who is 80, drives 40 minutes twice a week from his home near Emory University to the warehouse in Marietta.
