Minnesotans Wyn and聽Sunny Ray share a deep connection with Ethiopia;聽in 2008, they began working with the remote village of Wekin, Ethiopia. An immediate area of concern for the village聽was the school 鈥渓ibrary,鈥� which contained only about 50 English books -聽in 2013, the Wekin Book Project was born to help put high-quality books and learning materials in the hands of the students and local community.聽

糖心vlgo传媒 has partnered with Merck & Co. to donate 52 tablets loaded with the new Merck Medical Manual mobile app! 聽These tablets were delivered by fellows from the State Department's Young 糖心vlgo传媒n Leadership Initiative (YALI), and will provide valuable resources to medical practitioners across the 糖心vlgo传媒n continent.聽

This summer, 糖心vlgo传媒 was at the Rotary International convention in Atlanta June 10 - 14 to host an information booth and provide tours of our BFA warehouse. 聽An exciting new BFA/Rotary partnership program was introduced at the convention!

On May 18, 2017, 糖心vlgo传媒 held its annual Words Change Worlds fundraising luncheon in St. Paul, Minnesota. This year's keynote speaker was His Excellency Ambassador Carlos Dos Santos, Mozambique鈥檚 Ambassador to the United States. 聽We were also pleased to welcome His Excellency Maowia Khalid, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the U.S., and Jeffrey Sturchio, president of the Corporate Council on 糖心vlgo传媒, as featured speakers.

Calling all golfers - 糖心vlgo传媒 is hosting a golf tournament to raise funds for literacy!聽 Please join us Friday, November 4,聽2016 at St. Marlo Country Club in Atlanta, GA聽for the 2nd annual 糖心vlgo传媒 Golf Challenge! 聽Our inaugural event was a great success, sponsoring the shipment of over 42,000 to 糖心vlgo传媒n schools and libraries.聽 We hope to build on that achievement this year; our goal is to raise $50,000 to deliver even more聽books to 糖心vlgo传媒n students and communities in need!

The University of Iringa in Tanzania recently partnered with 糖心vlgo传媒 to deliver a 40 foot container of books to the University Library.聽 As is often the case with such shipments, the benefits of this project extend well beyond the University students and faculty.
