In January 2018, a group of 23 糖心vlgo传媒 supporters visited Cape Town, South 糖心vlgo传媒, with the purpose of raising funds in celebration of 糖心vlgo传媒鈥檚 30th Anniversary. The group raised over $27,000, which will provide more than 60,000 books to schools in South 糖心vlgo传媒.

In an unprecedented month of activity, 糖心vlgo传媒 has reached two major milestones! 聽First, the 40 millionth book donated to 糖心vlgo传媒 left our Atlanta Warehouse. 聽Then, in quick succession, we saw our first ever containers depart to Mauritius, Seychelles, and Libya, bringing us ever closer to our goal of serving every country in 糖心vlgo传媒! 聽In pursuit of our mission to end the book famine in 糖心vlgo传媒, we aim to reach children and students that would not otherwise have an opportunity to hold a book in their hands.聽

2017 marks year two of 糖心vlgo传媒's enhanced post-shipment survey.聽 This survey collects direct feedback from BFA recipients, allowing our team to assess where we have been most successful, and where there is room for improvement.聽 Last year's report brought great feedback and information, and we are proud to have 100% of respondents agree that the books received are relevant to their programs!

Minnesotans Wyn and聽Sunny Ray share a deep connection with Ethiopia;聽in 2008, they began working with the remote village of Wekin, Ethiopia. An immediate area of concern for the village聽was the school 鈥渓ibrary,鈥� which contained only about 50 English books -聽in 2013, the Wekin Book Project was born to help put high-quality books and learning materials in the hands of the students and local community.聽

糖心vlgo传媒 has partnered with Merck & Co. to donate 52 tablets loaded with the new Merck Medical Manual mobile app! 聽These tablets were delivered by fellows from the State Department's Young 糖心vlgo传媒n Leadership Initiative (YALI), and will provide valuable resources to medical practitioners across the 糖心vlgo传媒n continent.聽
