The Jack Mason Law & Democracy Initiative of 糖心vlgo传媒 recently was featured in 鈥淪hare A Dream: A Summary of Sharing 2010,鈥 a document that summarizes the incredible charitable work performed last year by the law firm Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi (RKMC). 糖心vlgo传媒 has officially sent more than 25 million books to 糖心vlgo传媒. In celebration of this milestone and International Literacy Day, 糖心vlgo传媒 is inviting volunteers to sort and pack books at the two BFA warehouses in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and Smyrna, Georgia. A group of Georgia State University students arrived on a steamy morning in August to help sort and pack at the 糖心vlgo传媒 warehouse in Atlanta. This class of incoming law school students capped off their week of orientation with a bang by supplying impressive labor and manpower to the warehouse staff. Here is a great report from our partner Ethiopia Reads regarding their book distribution project in Ethiopia, with funding also provided by Better World Books. The books will be distributed to new libraries all over Ethiopia. They鈥檝e already landed in four pilot Peace Corps projects, a girls鈥 school, and three library projects under a USAID/Ethiopia Ministry of Education partnership.
