ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ has just completed its seventh year of post-shipment feedback surveys! Recipients overwhelmingly reported that the books they received were useful and of high quality, and we can look back over seven years of consistently positive trends.

ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ is fortunate to have a variety of dedicated partners, both individuals and organizations, who help us make sure the books get to their destination. Their efforts are critical to our mission, and this month's newsletter highlights the work of just a few of them.

A law book can change a life. Donations from 117 law libraries to 24 ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n countries have changed millions of lives and helped to establish the rule of law across the continent, says Lane Ayres, director of the Jack Mason Law & Democracy Initiative of Books for ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½.

ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ hosted warehouse parties in our Minnesota and Georgia warehouses last week! These celebrations, held annually, are a way to thank our donors, volunteers, and supporters that make our work possible. We were delighted to host Minnesota Congresswoman Betty McCollum as a special guest and speaker at our Minnesota event!

On the occasion of its Georgia warehouse party, ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ received a set of 10 Law & Democracy Libraries from its partner, Thomson Reuters. Executive Director Pat Plonski and Board President Mike Essien were on site to observe the delivery.
