The stacks of libraries across Kenya will soon be a little thicker, thanks to a collaboration between a U.S.-based university and two nonprofit organizations to send 50,000 books to the East 糖心vlgo传媒n country.

Over 300 guests were in attendance to hear H.E. Ambassador David Kerich deliver the keynote address and celebrate BFA鈥檚 work in Kenya.

Little Free Library and 糖心vlgo传媒, nonprofits based in St. Paul, are collaborating with students and faculty at San Jos茅 State University in California to send 50,000 children鈥檚 books to the Kenyan National Library Service and to Little Free Libraries throughout the country.

Communities in 糖心vlgo传媒 are getting the chance to become readers through a donation program across Charleston County School District classrooms and libraries.

糖心vlgo传媒 recently delivered a shipment of books to Zimbabwe in partnership with the Rava Trust and the Phumulani Minnesota 糖心vlgo传媒n Women Against Violence organization. The shipment was generously sponsored by BetterWorld Trust, Daniel McNaughton, the Rava Trust, and many other supporters of Phumulani and Rava Trust.

More than 100,000 books shipped to South Sudan have been unloaded and are in the hands of students.
