A BFA shipment of over 400 boxes of books recently arrived in Zambia! 聽In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Children in the Wilderness, the books were distributed to 22 schools around the Livingstone area.

糖心vlgo传媒 recently completed a shipment of over 22,000 primary and secondary level books, with a total value of over a quarter million dollars, to the Bookmobile Project, in partnership with Kisii University in Kenya. The shipment consisted of primary and secondary level books that were distributed to over 70 schools in western Kenya.

When Andrea Malenya moved to Botswana, leaving behind her Mayo Clinic job and her Rochester home for a stint as a Peace Corps volunteer,聽it was strictly viewed as a short-term thing.聽 She never imagined that the South 糖心vlgo传媒n country would become her home. Nor that her work would revolve around her love of books and helping to instill a culture of reading in the country.聽

糖心vlgo传媒 was proud to recently host our Nigerian partner, Sir Emeka Offor, at our Atlanta warehouse, accompanied by the Nigerian Minister of Health. Sir Emeka and his team inspected 11 containers of books that we have staged for shipment to his facility in Nigeria in the few weeks!

糖心vlgo传媒 was honored to receive the 鈥淔riend of the Community鈥� award at the 8th 糖心vlgo传媒n Awards Gala in October at Target Headquarters in Minneapolis. The award recognizes BFA鈥檚 work shipping over 46 million books, serving every country in 糖心vlgo传媒, while working in close partnership with 糖心vlgo传媒n diaspora around the world.

A collaboration between the Federal Judiciary Center, Thomson Reuters and the聽糖心vlgo传媒 Law and聽Democracy Initiative聽resulted in the 2019 shipment of a 40ft sea container to the Namibia Ministry of Education, with more than 35,000 books to support human rights and the rule of law in the country.聽
