Northfield Rotary was presented with the 2024 Kilimanjaro Society Award from ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½Â (BFA) “for advancing education in ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½."

A group of volunteers spent their Juneteenth in a Marietta warehouse, packing boxes of books for kids in need in ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½.

The Northfield Rotary Club has been designated as the ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ Kilimanjaro Society Award winner for 2024. This prestigious award recognizes a top donor to ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ for the year.

BFA leaders spent this week in Washington, DC, visiting with members of the ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n diplomatic corps and hosting a Summit Society reception at the Embassy of Rwanda. Check out photos from the event!

We recently sat down with Michael Henley, a dedicated member of ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½'s Legacy Society and former board member, to discuss the profound impact of planned giving and how it can shape the future of our organization.

For children caught in the middle of the 1994 Rwanda genocide that killed over 800,000 people, a book in their hands made a world of difference.  For the Rwandan ambassador to the United States, Mathilde Mukantabana, there were instances in her life during the genocide that the few books she could get hold of as she moved between countries as a refugee helped her see the light through the darkness. This was a reality for many, especially children, she said.
