ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ has just completed its fifth year of recipient surveys! The survey found that recipients overwhelming rate BFA books as useful and of high quality, and the five years of data has shown some very positive trends in usefulness and relevance of books delivered!

ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½â€™s 50 Millionth Book Virtual Global Celebration was a resounding success! The Global Celebration raised over $403,000, enough to sponsor over 806,000 books to ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½.

ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ recently partnered with UPS for a project that resulted in nine containers being shipped to the ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½n continent! UPS donated freight for the effort, which sent a warehouse's worth of books from North Carolina to the continent.

In 2013, a BFA-supported library project was launched in the town of Nedjo, in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. BFA recently received a report reflection nearly half a million library visits in the seven-year period since!

ÌÇÐÄvlgo´«Ã½ has been awarded its ninth consecutive 4-star rating by Charity Navigator. This is the highest possible ranking, and reflects BFA’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
